ClearConnex, a provider of wireless M2M device engineering solutions, has partnered with Hilton Development Group, a wireless solutions company, to integrate the MobileXus platform with ClearConnex’s hardware agnostic software platform, ClearComm.
ClearComm supports leading modems and modules from companies such as Sierra Wireless (News - Alert), Maestro Wireless, Xact and GenX Mobile.
MobileXus from Hilton Development Group is designed to deliver comprehensive M2M solutions, while maintaining a significant level of service and value to customers.
The integration will help Hilton Development Group leverage ClearComm’s range of supported devices across a variety of vertical markets. The company can now build advanced M2M solutions by customizing these pre-integrated off-the-shelf systems.
ClearConnex has extensive experience in wireless device design and development. According to ClearConnex, the wireless M2M industry is fragmented and a lot of pieces need to be pulled together to build an end-to-end system.
“Partnerships with companies like MobileXus work well because our platform-agnostic ClearComm solution can be customized to work with virtually any product set,” said Ryan Rangel, president, ClearConnex, in a statement. Integrating MobileXus with ClearComm enables a new class of intelligent applications which is yet another example of our Start Ahead.”
Christopher Hilton, VP Business Development and Sales, said, “ClearComm significantly expands the options that our customers have when choosing modules and modems for their M2M solutions.”
According to Hilton, MobileXus combined with ClearComm and ClearConnex engineering services, provides the platform to integrate these technologies to get to market faster.
Recently ClearConnex announced that ClearConnex's ClearComm achieved Axeda (News - Alert) Ready certification, which ensures compatibility and ease of deployment with the Axeda Machine Cloud. With this development, ClearComm can easily integrate with the Axeda Machine Cloud Platform.
This compatibility allows ClearComm to easily port to leading modems as well as modules and support custom devices allowing customers to start ahead by speeding time to market with the Axeda platform and ClearConnex engineering services, the company said.
